Mannie J. Laughlin was recently honored by CODE Inc. for his years of service and dedication to the organization.

Laughlin was on CODE’s board while CODE undertook many of its major community development efforts, including the Chadakoin Centre, the Appleyard developments, the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena and Justice Robert H. Jackson Center. CODE’s activities while Laughlin was a director resulted in an investment of more than $45 million in the city.

In appreciation for this service, Laughlin was named CODE’s first director emeritus so he can continue to help set CODE’s direction as it works to transform the city. Although retired, Laughlin remains a strong advocate for the city.
